Since 1978, San Pascual Stables has offered a quality, successful riding academy that takes our riders through the levels. Our academy program matches beginner, intermediate, and advanced riders with one of our expert trainers to advance their riding goals. Regardless of age, we believe that anyone with the passion to learn to ride can achieve their goals with patience and practice.
Our academy includes riders ages 5-85; all with different aspirations and experience levels on horseback. While showing and competing is not a requirement of any rider at San Pascual, we are immensely proud of our riders who have gone on to achieve top honors in competitions. Many of the riders who began their careers in the San Pascual Riding Academy have shown nationally and internationally across America, Belgium, and Canada. Under our Academy Director Caroline Sterckx’s leadership, our riders have won the team gold medal at USEF Pony Finals in Lexington, KY for four of the last six years, and the silver for two of the last six years. Caroline is the Chef d’Equipe of the Zone X jumper team at Pony Finals, a division that represents Pony Jumper competitors in California and Nevada.
